Bridges

No, no, no… it’s not apples and oranges, but fresh or rotten.
Someone once tried to split 100 widgets among two groups. They split it about in half, right down near the middle. A few were lost or broken. They gave about 45 to one and about 45 to the other. Someone else split 100 widgets among two groups. The first group was a large portion of the middle section, about 90%. The second group was the two smaller outer sections, about 5% each.

The two people who formed groups differently were frenemies, separated by a chasm where unwanted information was discarded. But in the cosmic eternal dark, even a roomful of monkeys will eventually produce Shakespeare. And so information finds itself in the soup and forms greater and greater complexity. It invents its own life out of near nothingness.

And that is why a bridge must be made. (Do you also prefer the second schematic?)
